Green Building Convention 2010 to be held from 18th February
Indiaprwire: An international event focused on sustainable development & eco-friendly construction, scheduled to be held at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre, Pune (INDIA) from the 18th to 20th February, 2010.
GBC’10 is an initiative designed to promote the concept of Green Buildings in the design, construction & operation of building projects and serves as a platform to showcase the latest products & innovations in the industry. The event also proves to be an ideal forum for exploring new business opportunities and for dissemination of knowledge in the quest to deliver sustainable development & green architecture.
Using green building materials and products promotes conservation of dwindling nonrenewable resources internationally. In addition, integrating green building materials into building projects can help reduce the environmental impacts associated with the extraction, transport, processing, fabrication, installation, reuse, recycling, and disposal of these building industry source materials.GBC’10 will thus provide an interface between technology owners & users to understand new trends & technologies and also establish a one-stop shop for the architects/consultants, builders/contractors, facility managers, civil & structural engineers, dealers/suppliers to source their requirements.
