Unleash the CEO within you at Europe Asia Business School (EABS)

Vision, Innovation, Knowledge, Leadership and Ambition is what you need to sit in that CEO chair. With the competition getting tougher each day, it gets pretty important to chose the best B school where your true potentials are unleashed. At EABS you will find the right recipe to bring out the CEO in you.

After the success of events like Power Breakfast and Mandi, the EABS institute has come up with yet another interesting and different approach to educate the students about the intricacies of management.

On the occasion of 60th year of India’s Republic Day celebrations, EABS has taken an initiative to adopt 20 Micro-entrepreneurs for a year and enhance their business opportunities through analytical intelligence of their students.

Each student from the institute has selected a small or a micro business which they will observe very closely in order to get an insight into the functioning of the industry. The institute has come up with this idea based on experiential learning so that students can learn from the ground level and then relate it to principles of management.

The micro set-ups chosen by the students are also quite diverse in nature. For instance students have chosen sweet shops, Vada Pav vendors, florists, small grocery stores, sandwich vendors and small scale units running business.

Every student will partner with his micro-business CEO for the whole day. Right from knowing about the suppliers, the procurement process, target audience and the marketing strategies, the students at EABS will be exposed to every aspect of running a business.Picture1

In the due course, this exposure will help students get an insight on how the entrepreneur plans for his sales, schedules the timings, location and promotes the products.

Apart from this they will also learn to handle and manage the available resources effectively. The practical knowledge will further help them understand the importance and ways of minimizing cost of production. The first hand experience of handling and dealing with customers from different walks of life will give them better understanding of running a business.

Apart from the above, students will get a chance to peep into the entrepreneur’s financial records which eventually will aid in understanding his management of working capital, sources of finance and his daily record keeping. Human resource is also a very important part of these small setups.

In a nut shell, the objective of this unique program is to have completed the learning curve for students varying from multinational CEOs to a CEO of Vada pav stall. This practical knowledge will help them understand the core of business.

Also as these micro-entrepreneurs largely operate in unorganized sectors, they have huge potential of growth and improvement.

Students at EABS have an opportunity to provide inputs in order to increase their business values that have been neglected and overlooked by upcoming entrepreneurs. These experiments of experiential learning  provides an in-depth insight towards a more well rounded education that includes even the micro level aspects of learning.
