When you say “no one’s perfect”, Rajanikanth takes this as a personal insult.
Rajnikanth’s house has no doors, only walls that he walks through.
So many people take a dig at this man and I too quite enjoy the jokes silently. But one thing that came to my notice after reading his funny one liner’s and jokes was his “Never Say Die” and “Impossible is Nothing” attitude.
And his one-liners kind of reflect the way he has lived his life with the same attitude. From working as a bus conductor for the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation to going on to becoming one of the most worshipped actors in tinsel town, Shivaji Gaikwad aka Rajnikanth has definitely walked a long way and right into people’s hearts.
During his stint as a bus conductor his charisma and style were noticed by the passengers who suggested him to become an actor. His unique mannerisms and stylized sense of dialogue delivery swept many off their feet. Soon he garnered mass popularity from a large chunk of masses. So much so that people started worshiping him and erecting temples in his name in the South. In fact there is so much of fanfare surrounding him that his followers bathe his posters with milk, burst crackers and even devote prayers on his name.
For a lot of film stars and wannabe actors Rajnikanth is an idol of adulation. Because not only does he have legions of fans who would die for him but also convert their devotion into rampant ticket sales. His recent movies like Sivaji-The Boss, Chandramukhi and many other films have received unabashed frenzy in India and abroad.
Apart from his film career, he also serves as a strong influence in the politics of Tamil Nadu. No smart politician in the South would want to mess with the man, because if he tells people not to vote for a particular leader, they will blindly obey him. Such is his popularity.
Although he possesses so much of power, Rajnikanth has always remained down to earth, and has never misused his powers on the masses for his benefit. He doesn’t need to indulge in one of those undignified endorsements to fill his coffers, the reason being that he makes ten times the amount many Bollywood stars can make. He is also a noted philanthropist who donates a lot towards charity.
In spite of his magnanimous personality on screen, in real life he is extremely down to earth person minus the so called hoopla of other superstars. And his fans love him for the same, especially his unpretentiousness as he is often seen in simple clothing, rubber chappals, balding and greying mane.
This one liner seems apt for his fans – “Where there is a will, there is a way. Where there is Rajnikant there is no other way.”
