Pravin Trophy Junior Tennis Tournament will be held from December 19
Indian Express: The 24th edition of the Pravin Trophy Junior National ranking tennis tournament will be held at the Hill Side Gymkhana tennis courts in Bibwewadi from December 19 to December 25.
Tournament Director and the Vice President of the MSLTA Rajkumar Chordia said that the tournament would be a Championship series All India ranking event in the Under 12 and 14 event and state ranking in the Under-10 events.
While the state-ranking tournament will be held in the Boys and Girls under 10, while the Under-12 and Under-14 events will be event with national ranking points.
While the winner will get 20 points, the runners up will get 15, semifinalists 10, quarterfinalists 5, second round 3 points
This year entries have been received from Mumbai, Kolhapur, Sangli, Nagar, Aurangabad, Nasik, Jalgoan, Khamgaon, Solapur, Hyderabad , Ahmedabad, Gwalior, Delhi , Chandigarh, Coimbatore.
He also informed that the organisers would allow all the markers and their children to participate free in the tournament as per their usual practice.
The qualifying rounds will be played on Saturday and Sunday, while the Main draw will be played Monday onwards.
