Mouthwatering Rolls at Kapila Kathi Kebab
As soon as you enter Dhole Patil road, you come across a small kiosk on your left hand side called Kapila Kathi Kabab. As you approach the place, the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen are guaranteed to stimulate your appetite.
Kapila Kathi Kebab offers a wide range of rolls to suit the vegetarians as well as the non-vegetarians. The vegetarian menu includes Aalu and Paneer whereas the non vegetarian menu includes chicken rolls. You can chose to have either a single filling or double filling depending on your appetite. A single filling would cost you about 50 rupees whereas a double filling would cost you about 75 bucks. You can also have soft drinks to complement the roll.
While you are waiting for your order, it is really fascinating to watch the guys make the Kathi Kebabs. They have a pile of these pre cooked maida roti’s all stacked up. The guy first takes a roti, places it on a huge tava and breaks an egg on it and cooks the egg. After this is done he lines up all the roti’s with egg in a row and places a good helping of well marinated chicken chunks or paneer chunks on them. He finally throws in some onions, squeezes lime and douses it with special green chutney. He then rolls the sumptuously filled roti around a butter paper and serves it to you.
Watching this and site and breathing in the wonderful aroma will cause your stomach to rumble and your taste buds to crave for this mouth watering delicacy. This place is open post 5 PM . But mostly people flock in here in around 7 PM which is why you have wait for a while after placing your order. If you wish to have it here you can catch your seat behind the kiosk on the parapet. And you are all set for relishing a yummy juicy Kathi Kebab. Takeaways are also available here.
