Docs rap attack on hospital
Sakaal Times: Doctors from various associations met Commissioner of Police Satyapal Singh, condemning the incident wherein Suyog Hospital in Dhankawadi was ransacked after the death of a patient on October 23.
Dr S B Kulkarni, director of Suyog Nursing Home Pvt Ltd, accompanied by representatives of National Integrated Medical Association, Indian Medical Association, doctors’ cell of NCP and South Pune Medical Practitioners’ Association, met Singh and submitted a memorandum requesting personal attention in the matter.
Some persons recently barged into the premises of the hospital at Dhankawadi and ransacked the premises alleging negligence leading to the death of a patient. A dengue patient Pramod Dhongadi, who was being treated at Suyog was shifted to another hospital where he succumbed after five days. The police have registered an offence against unidentified persons in this regard.
