The College of Engineering Pune (COEP), an autonomous institute of the government, has taken up the cause to incubate innovators.
COEP is coming up with the Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership (BIIEL) for all innovators who want to give entrepreneurship a shot. The institute’s bhoomipujan ceremony, on COEP’s campus, is scheduled for Monday, September 28.
Interestingly, the COEP alumnus is giving shape to this idea in the form of a building for this entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation centre.
Narendra Kale, who is an alumnus of COEP along with Sanjay Inamdar, a serial entrepreneur, are the co-founders of this institute. Both of them are Harvard alumni and were working in the US for quite a long time.
