Aurigo joins hands with Microsoft, NICMAR to set up ERP lab in Pune
Indian Express: Aurigo Software Technologies, in association with Microsoft, will assist the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) in setting up the country’s first construction ERP lab at the Pune centre. This will be later started in in the Hyderabad and Goa campuses.
Aurigo, a software products company that provides solutions to Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) verticals and Microsoft will provide NICMAR with free licences of BRIX 2009, Aurigo’s web-based construction management and inspection software and free licences of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP software under their respective academic alliance programs.
Addressing reporters recently, Mangesh G Korgaonker, director general, NICMAR, said, “Aurigo’s products are relevant to our industry and we are aware of Microsoft’s growing dominance in the ERP market place. This initiative will help us deliver industry-ready professionals into the market. We are committed to enhancing the quality of the education experience for construction management students and equip them with practical knowledge, competencies, skills and training to serve and function in the Infrastructure and Real Estate Verticals.”
