Train link between Mumbai-Pune affected by heavy rains
Pune Mirror: Trains were affected due to the rains. Pune-Mumbai Deccan Express which was scheduled for departure at 15.30 hours was rescheduled for 17.30 hours, while the Kolhapur-Mumbai Saiyadri Express was terminated in Lonavala.
The latter will leave for Kolhapur at the scheduled time. Pune-Mumbai Sinhagad Express was terminated at Wangani station. It will leave for Pune on scheduled time.
According to the Railway department, All the trains coming from Mumbai are likely to be one or two hours late.
Traffic jams were witnessed in various parts of the city. In Hadapsar, Malwadi there was a traffic jam as a tree had fallen down.
There was a jam for some fifteen minutes at the Engineeering College chowk due to water logging.
A PMPML bus got stuck in Nullstop area because of water clogging. Elsewhere, a State Transport bus was stuck near Harris Bridge on Dapodi Road because of water logging.
