Tarot Reading Workshop

Italian Cookery Demonstration
Sakaal Times in association with La Pizzeria is organising an event on Italian cookery demonstration. Little Italy Head Chef, Dinesh Kuchekar will demonstrate three fascinating dishes ‘Zuppa Di Cipollem’, ‘Risotto Funghi e Saffron’ and ‘Primavera in Fussli Pasta’.
‘Zuppa Di Cipolle’ is spring onion soup sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and is served with crunchy croutons. ‘Risotto Funghi e Saffron’ is a brown rice dish with mushrooms and delicately flavoured with saffron, cream and Parmesan cheese while ‘Primavera in Fussli Pasta’ is made with red, yellow, capsicum, olive capers, parsley, sun dried tomato, garlic and olive oil.

SRIJAN 2009 Pune
After the success of Srijan Delhi and Srijan Mumbai, Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) has announced SRIJAN 2009 Pune. This Edu-Fair promotes the exciting field of 3D Animation and Visual Effects and displays the best work of students and animation studios.
“SRIJAN has proved to an exceptionally strong platform that brings together the youth and Bollywood animation studios. Students will display their works in 3D Animation and Visual Effects (VFX) through show reels, thereby also showcasing the vast talent pool India offers. The event will display varied categories of animation works, from students to Bollywood professionals. We are expecting students, professionals, freelancers & senior executives of leading studios – Rhythm & Hues, Scientific Animations, etc. to attend Srijan,” said Gaurav Markan, VP – Student Affairs and Development, MAAC.
SRIJAN 2009 will display animation works of MAAC students in the pre-production, production & post-production categories through show reels. Eminent personalities and industry experts will judge the best works and choose winners in the three categories.
The daylong Edu-Fair will have several workshops & case studies presented by industry professionals like Subhajit Sarkar of Rhythm & Hues Studios–India.
Vivek Ram will share his thoughts on the Making of Digital Illustration with the help of The Legend of Ram Series.
