Pandal decoration competition for Ganesh festival
Times of India, PUNE: Pune Festival organisers have invited entries for the pandal decoration competition on the occasion of the Ganesh festival. Applications will be accepted till August 31 and forms can be collected from Hotel Pathik and Marathon Bahvan. The total prize money for the competition is Rs 1.5 lakh.
Pune festival co-ordinator Krishnakant Kudale said, “This year we have various categories for the pandal decoration and special importance will be given to topics like environment, education, social themes, history, development of Pune, health and youth. Pandals decorated on other themes will also be considered for the competition. The competition has been divided into three categories. The mandal that has collected Rs 50,000 and more are entitled to win cash prize of Rs 25,000, 15,000, 10,000 and ten consolation prizes worth Rs 2,000 each.”
